Let’s look at bible scripture from the book of Genesis chapter 6 as recorded by Prophet Moses.Moses starts by writing that man began to multiply and daughters were born.Sons of God married the daughters.Giants were also on earth and married daughters of men and sired famous, mighty men.
God said,’my spirit will not contend with man forever for man is flesh ‘.’man’s heart is evil,his intends are evil, and his mind is corrupt’.Therefore a man’s lifespan will be 120 years.
The wickedness of man increased and God decided to destroy the earth.However God’s grace was on Noah,a perfect man who walked with God.
The scripture encourages us to be righteous,godly,love God and love others.Then we will live long on earth and have eternal life.He will be gracious, merciful and give us favour.

Life Giving Scripture
I wish to share scripture as recorded in Genesis chapters 4 about the family of Adam,his genealogy and about Noah.
Adam slept with Eve and they conceived Cain,a name that means ‘I have acquired a Man from the Lord”.Cain was a farmer.Next they bore Abel,a keeper of sheep.Cain offered a fruit of the farm and God wasn’t pleased with him.Abel offered the first born of animals and their fat and God respectrd the offering.Cain was very angry that his sacrifice wasn’t respected by God.Then God asked him,’why are you angry and why does your face look sad?'”If you do well, you will be accepted,but if you don’t you will not be accepted ”Sin is at the door and desires you, you can rule it.
Cain killed Abel in the Field.God asked Cain,’where is your brother?’Cain said,’I don’t know,Am I my brother’s keeper?’God asked him what he had done as the blood of Abel was crying out from the earth Cain was cursed from the earth, which opened it’s mouth to receive the blood of his brother.Cain was told that the ground shall no longer yield its strength, Cain would become a fugitive and vangabond on earth.
Cain told God that the punishment was too great to bear,he was driven out of the land, anyone who finds him may kill him.God said that whoever kills Adam would be avenged 7 times.God set a mark on Cain so none should kill him.He left God’s presence and lived in Nod, East of eden.cain bore Enoch,who bore Irad,who bore mehujael,who bore mehushael, father of Lameck, father of jabal &Jubal.Adam got another son,Seth (God has appointment another)who bore Enosh.

Let me share scripture from the book of Genesis 3 about how man was misled by the serpent/Satan/the devil and about the family of Adam and Eve.
The serpent,Satan or the devil was the most cunning creature of God and said to the woman,’Has God said “you should not eat of every tree of the garden?”The woman said,’we may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden of Eden,but not of the tree in the middle for God said,’you shall not eat it,nor touch it or you will die’.The serpent lied to the woman that they would not die& God knows that when they eat of it their eyes would be opened,be like God & know good and evil.
The woman saw that the tree was good for food,was pleasant to look at,and desirable to make one wise.She took the fruit and ate it.She also gave to her husband,who also ate.Their eyes were opened and they knew that they were naked.The made clothes from fif leaves and covered themselves.
They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of day.Adam and Eve hid themselves from the presence of the lord God among the trees.God called Adam and said,’where are you?. Adam explained that he heard God’s voice and he got afraid because he was naked.God asked him who told Adam that he was naked.God asked him if he had eaten from the tree of knowledge.Adam blamed the woman.So God asked the woman,’what is this you have done?’The woman blamed Satan.
God confronted Satan and told him,’because you have done this, you are cursed more than all other creatures, you will craw on your belly,eat dust all your days, I will put enmity between you and man, and all his descendants’.’Man will bruise your head and you will bruise his heel”.
God told the woman that He would greatly multiply the sorrow of her conception.”in pain you shall bring forth children, your desire shall be for your husband and he shall rule over you’.
God told man that his ground was cursed due to his disobedience,he would toil all his days to get food, problems would follow him and that he would eat herbs.’In the sweat of your face, you shall eat,till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.
Adam called his wife Eve for she is the mother of all men.God made clothes from skin and clothed them.Then God said that because man had become wise, known good and evil,He would send him out of the garden,so he doesn’t eat the fruit of the tree of life and live for ever.Man was taken to till the garden from which he was formed and God placed cherubim at the East of the garden to guard it and a flaming sword which turns every way to guard the Way to the tree of life.

Today and yesterday I read chapters 1&2 of the book of Genesis, the first book of the old testament.The book is the first of 5 books, called the Pentateuch, written by prophet Moses who called it the history of the heavens and earth.In the beginning God created the earth and the earth had no form,was void and full of darkness.We note that God created a perfect earth and not the corrupt world systems, processes and policies made by men.The spirit of God was hovering over the seas/oceans.God said,’let there be light ‘.He divided the light from the darkness, and called the light day and the darkness, night.
In the first day,He created heaven above the waters and earth below the waters.He made the dry land and seas/oceans.
In the second day,He made grass,herbs and fruit and forest trees.
In the 3rd day God made the day and night into days, seasons and years.He made the sun,moon and stars.
In the 4th day,He made the sea creatures, birds of the air and commanded them to be fruitful and multiply.
In the 5th day, He made all land animals.
On the 6th day, God made man; male and female in His image, blessed them and told them to be fruitful and multiply,fill the earth,subdue all animals and have dominion.Man named all the animals.God formed man from the dust of the ground,breathed into mans nostrils the breath of life and man became a living thing.God said,’it isn’t good for man to stay alone’, ‘I will make a helper comparable to him ‘.God made Adam sleep deeply and took out one rib from man and made a woman,Eve.Adam said,’this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh and called her woman because she was taken out of man.Therefore a man shall leave his parents and be joined with his wife and become one.They were both naked but they were not ashamed.
God planted a garden eastward of Eden and put man to tend and keep the land.God caused mist to come out of the ground and rain from above to water crops.He planted trees in the garden and put the tree of life in the middle and also planted the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.He made a river with 4 tributaries Havilah,Gihon/Nile, Hiddekel East Assyria and Euphrates.
On the 7th day God finished His work, rested, blessed the day and sanctified it.All things were created by God and we are only stewards.We should marry man and woman and be fruitful and multiply, and work.
